AUTUMN GINZA 2024

The annual Autumn Ginza 2024 will be held for an 18-day period from Friday, October 18 to Monday (holiday), November 4.
This year’s theme is Etsu, meaning “delight.”
During this period, there will be a wide range of fun events that both adults and children can enjoy, including the Ginchakai tea ceremony, the Traffic Safety Golden Parade, and special offers at popular bars and restaurants in the area. This year there will also be a professionally guided tour of Ginza-area art galleries. Please enjoy this wonderful autumn event that can only be found in Ginza.

Ginchakai 2024

[Date & Time] Sunday, October 27, 2024, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Ginchakai that has become a familiar autumn tradition in Ginza is now in its 22nd installment.
This year’s theme is Kisho, meaning “joyous laughter”, in the hopes that everyone can laugh together as they enjoy spending time in Ginza.
Enjoy a relaxing autumn moment with some delicious original sweets and a bowl of tea.

Autumn Ginza Traffic Safety Golden Parade
[Date & Time] Sunday, October 20, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (canceled in the event of inclement weather)
Ginza’s Golden Parade boasts a history of more than 60 years.
This year, it will once again be held on Ginza-dori Street. The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department Traffic Safety Parade, which is held to raise awareness of traffic safety in Ginza, an area that prides itself on its safety, and the Tokyo Band Association’s Golden Parade, which features amazing performances by brass bands and baton twirlers, will combine to make Ginza even more exciting this autumn.
Please note that Ginza-dori Street will be a vehicle-free promenade starting at noon.

Afternoon Galleries

[Common Gallery Hours]Saturday, October 26, 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This event is organized by Ginza Galleries, an organization made up of 37 art galleries in the Ginza area.
This autumn, Afternoon Galleries will be held as a part of Autumn Ginza for the first time in five years.
Sixteen galleries from Ginza 1- to 8-chome participate in this event that is aimed at turning galleries into a platform for communication. This event features activities such as gallery tours, as well as gallery and art Q&A sessions and lectures, that can help anyone become more familiar with and interested in art. Please feel free to take part and experience the joy of visiting art galleries.

Diners Club Ginza Restaurant Week 2024 Autumn

Notice regarding visiting the Ginza Hatcho Shrines

There will be no stamp rally this year. There will also be no distribution of stamp books.
Some of the shrines will be open for visits, so please feel free to visit them as you make your way around Ginza.

11:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m.
